Here’s how we do it:
Our fish are sourced from the abundant waters off the coast of Morocco, where they are caught by large trawlers and transported directly to Banjul. Upon arrival, the fish undergo a thorough inspection and licensing process to ensure they meet all regulatory standards.
Once approved, Bluefinn Africa deploys our fleet of refrigerated trucks to collect the fish from Banjul. These specialized vehicles maintain the necessary temperature controls to preserve the freshness and quality of the catch during the journey to our state-of-the-art processing facility in Tanji.
At the Tanji facility, the fish are meticulously processed by our skilled team, including cleaning, gutting, filleting, and packaging, all while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and quality. After processing, the fish are distributed to our network of women buyers, who play a crucial role in bringing our premium seafood products to local markets.
